Has anyone ever had the alarm for the propane sensor go on? I really don't think I have a leak and the alarm seems to go on unnecessarily. A bit annoying at 2:00am and you have to start searching for the fuse.

Hi if you mean the Co2 sensor in the cave the fuse is in the generator hatch at the front there is a fuse box with 4-6 fuses the grey fuse is the one you cloud be looking for. Sorry for a long explanation but i'm using the old grey matter as I,m not on the boat at the moment. We removed that fuse as we had the same problem and it didn't stop us from starting the motor ( as some boats do).

Hi Mike:

We had ours start sounding early in the summer all of a sudden, and i ended up ordering a new one from Defender.

If it goes out again, i think i'll try another CO detector.

Mike, My propane sensor alarm goes off now and then, even when the valve is closed at the tank. So far I haven't done anything about it other than keep the tank valve closed when not actually using the stove. Next season, if it persists, I'll check the connections for leaks.

Thanks for the feedback Phil. I checked all the fittings with soapy water and did not see any bubbles so I assume it is a defective sensor. I will be leaving the boat for the holidays so I will close the valve and pull the fuse just in case there is another occurrence while away. Trying to search for the right fuse at 2:00am is not one of my favorite tasks! If I find out additional information on this I will forward it over to you.
