The propane Stove on my 2014 R-29 Ranger Tug stopped working. The propane alarm left side green light lights up, The middle green light does not light up and the red light on the right does not light up. The 1 amp fuse is good to the propane sensor on the PDP panel. The regulator at the propane tank is good and passes gas. The Propane Gauge stays at 160 even after the tank is disconected. The propane solenoid does not click or make any sounds. I bypassed the solenoid to the stove and the stove functioned normally. Any suggestions as to how to proceed from here???.
Any suggestions are appreciated

I would rule out the solenoid by bypassing the power through the switch/sensor assembly at the stove and supply power directly to the solenoid and ensure that the solenoid is either working or not. If the solenoid works then I would check all the connections to the unit. They are plug connectors so perhaps some corrosion. After that I am afraid a new sensor assembly may be needed.

Please let us know how things progress.

Thanks for the reply, I figured it out with your help and a mistake on my part and learned more about the systems on the R-29.

Same here - thank you! We're on our 4th day on our R29 CB and I overlooked the valve switch on the propane stove.

Eric

I recommend that you keep the propane solenoid off unless in use. The valve can get rather hot if left on. It is a solenoid and opens via electrical current and a magnetic field. Keep it off when not in use.
