I have a 2015 R31-CB (luxury model). I have cleaned my ignitor plug and it seems I need to replace the whole unit. Does anyone know how to remove the stovetop to access the ignitor?

thanks,

Works for me as well. Where do you specifically place the lighter flame to light the oven?

Hello,

If you remove the screws on the face of the stove it will slide out. You may need to change the battery, just a standard AA which I believe is under and behind the stove. Hope this helps.

Thanks,

If the stove is a Force 10 when you have it out relocate the battery holder. The holder is on the bottom left.Relocated mine to the cabinet just forward of the stove.

My battery is in the push button and I replaced that already. Must need a whole new ignitor assembly - only need to understand how to remove the existing one.

The oven is a great storage cabinet for us. Never used it! I am sure you can find it. Probably near the thermocouple.

If it is not the battery it most likely is the ignition mod. Force ten sells them direct $75. And receive it two days . Easy repack just have to slide stove out like described.

Yes, bottom back right.

Actually, we never used the oven. If you look under the bottom shelf you will see the burner, pilot light and thermocouple. You should follow the standard starting procedure while holding the lighter in that location. For the record I am refering to the princess stove.
