I looked at two 2011 R27s before I purchased mine. Both had the propane system disconnected and the stove unused.

On the one I purchased, the wires were cut at the solenoid and at the panel next to the stove. The solenoid tested fine and when I bypass the panel and sensor the stove works great. It is standard Fireboy-Xintex set up with remote sensor shut off.

Was there a common issue with the propane systems on this model?

I am planning to purchase a new Fireboy panel and sensor and go on from there, just wondering if I fixing the problem or just recreating it.

We have the Princess propane range in our 2014 R27 with the same sensor/valve setup. Never had a problem. Love our little Range! We preprepare frozen meals at home and heat them in the oven. We also bake pizza! The gas cooktop is super fast and gets used nearly every day when traveling. We like to anchor out a lot and having propane is essential for saving battery power.

I have a 2011 R-27 with propane, never had an issue-KNOCK WOOD! My sensor did fail and I replaced it.
