Hi Tugnutters,
I'm in Jupiter Fl, my boat is on its trailer in a storage yard onsite in the complex I live in. Any suggestions for protecting the windows before the storm hits?
Thanks in advance,
Brian

I would cover with several layers of corrugated cardboard and then wrap the whole cabin with that clear shrink wrap you see on pallets of merchandise. You can buy both from a moving company and maybe Home Depot. Won't stop flying cows but will save you from flying small debris.

Wishing you the best of luck in the storm!!!

Leon

Thanks Leon. Luckily I'm off work tomorrow and can get things done. Great idea.

Thoughts and prayers to any of the Tugnut families that will have to face Irma. Please stay safe!

Short of hitching up and heading north, I would use one inch styrofoam and then get a long ratchet strap or two and go around the entire cabin to hold them in place. I would also consider screw in ground ties and strap the boat and trailer down. Wind can blow that sucker right over.
