Hello all! I have been taking advantage of the collective wisdom here for a few weeks as I made my decision on buying a 2018 RT29 CB. I want to introduce myself to the community since I’ll likely be asking even more questions now! We bought the boat and took delivery last week from the awesome original owners and now have it slipped in Dana Point, CA. We renamed the boat (in a pretty fun ceremony...!) to “Plane-to-Sea”, as I am a retired Air Force pilot who has now moved from “planes” to the sea, and love it. Thanks in advance for the information already accumulated here and I look forward to reading more stories, tips and wisdom from the community in the future! 😀

Congratulations on the new boat, and welcome aboard! I'm sure you'll love your boat. The group here is a great resource.

Congratulations! Retired F-111 WSO here, also with an R-29.

Congratulations on becoming a RT owner. Although I’m not a pilot it is interesting how many RT owners have been or are pilots of small n large planes. Enjoy your R29CB.

Same here...GOOD CHOICE. From another retired USAF (B-52) Driver, now a '19 R27OB "pilot". Similar to flying but slower. ENJOY!

Welcome to the "cult". You will find a wealth of good information here and surprisingly patient advice. Remember that there is only one part on your boat that will work all the time: you, the owner.

Sent from my 29CB looking over Alcatraz Island in San Francisco

(these make great condos, as you will discover!)
