Not from the N.W. But we liked to have our propane grill, a couple chicken thighs, a thin steak if you do meat. We carry tin foil to place veggies, asparagus or brussel sprouts with some olive oil and some Weber grill seasoning. Potatoes wrapped in tin foil with coated with some olive oil are fun. We usually carry onions and canned potatoes, baked beans, tuna fish in cans. we pack relish, and whatever else you want add to make a decent tuna fish salad. We always have saltines to put the tuna salad on as to void the carbs of bread. We usually carried some hard boiled eggs. Great snack while traveling. Pick up veggies at the local farmers markets. If your going up as far as Salt Spring Island at Ganges there is a nice farmers market and also at Bellingham. We always travel with a decent 65 quart cooler with a tray to keep some items from getting water logged. Use block ice as it will last longer. The cooler also serves as another decent seat nice if you spring for a cushion top snap on seat for the cooler. The cooler is a nice item for overflow items such as beer and wine. Carry something a little stiffer if you catch a chill. Cheese and crackers make for a happier hour/s. Tough thicker plastic beer or wine glasses are nice to avoid cleaning up glass. We carry a internet hot spot from Verizon. The Waggoner guide book for the area was invaluable. If you get the chance you can score on sugar, and other condiments like mayonnaise and ketchup and mustard in little squeeze packets that I think last forever and don't take up a lot of space. Rain gear and sweat pants and a hooded sweat shirt or two can't hurt. Quarters for use in the showers and laundry if you intend to do laundry. Laundry soap, Dawn foam dish detergent. so extra water. ETC.
