Subject: Purpose for the 2019 R29 S Cockpit hardtop hatches
The 2019 R29 S models I've seen so far have two hatches in the cockpit's hardtop. To me this seems an over designed feature with little benefit for adding light to the cockpit area. So why has RT decided to add these two hatches I wonder ? Am I missing some subtle reason for these hatches to be a useful addition besides style ? ...and the hatches do seem to be blocked to some degree due to their overhead solar panel.
Now I can see some advantage having the hatches if a full cockpit enclosure were to be installed such that some air flow and/or ventilation can be afforded.... especially if the cabin door and forward windows and/or cabin roof hatches are also open.
Maybe they are there to facilitate the 'solar shower' feature
