Today was bright sunny, 68 degrees in the boat, and a nice breeze. The lake had its usual two foot waves. Seems like when we get 10 to 12 knots out of the SW we get those waves.
I needed fuel, so off I went. The waves were breaking over bow on my starboard side, covering the pilot house. That tug requires a lot of attention in those conditions.
Anyway, picked up my usual small fuel load, 9.2 gallons this time. With 82 hours of operation I'm averaging 0.6 gallons per hour, with this fuel purchase it remained the same. Consistent.
My max rpm under load was 3375 and without load it was 4050. Max speed today was 9.2 knots.
Beautiful day to spend a couple of hours on the water. And, yesterday was equally nice so I took my sailboat out for a couple of hours.
