I received my boat back from warranty service yesturday and all I did was turn my house battery switch to off when I dropped it off. Now that I have it back, shore power connected and the house battery switch is on nothing in the cabin has power. If I switch to emergency power everything works. Thinking that my house batteries must be dead I charged the batteries for 24hrs - the boat connected to shore power, the cabin switch shore power to on, the cabin battery charger and switch on, and the port hold battery switch on. Still nothing.
I am new to boat features such as house batteries, shore power, inverters, bow thuster, battery charger etc. My R23 did not come with a user manual, wiring schematic or plumbing/valve layout. The equipment parts manuals are not much help when you don't know how they are connected together to operate in the boat.
Do you have a simple users guide for the basics such as;
- If you are on shore power and want to charge your batteries you need to make sure switches XX.... in the cabin are in the XX position and the switch in the port hold is XX and.... If they don't work you need to check fuse XX located XX
- If you are under power and you want your fridge or hot water to work you need to ....
- If you are under shore power and you want your fridge or hot water to work you need to....
- If you want your diesel heater to work you need to switch to house batteries...
- If you want to get the RV antifreeze out of your system you need to...
Sure would be nice to use my boat this weekend.
