Hello,
Wanted to post about the R23 Tug for anyone that might be interested...
I purchased this boat last year at the Tacoma Boat Show, and took delivery in May 2016. Originally I wasn't supposed to take delivery until September 2016, but was told that sometimes folks back out for whatever reason, and to my happy surprise, this is just what happened.
A day was scheduled to take delivery, we met Kenny, and spent the day with him on the water learning the ins and outs of the new boat. Kenny was very knowledgable and helpful, we had a great time.
After spending the whole summer using the Tug (I logged 100/hrs on the motor) all I can say is I totally love it, and have nothing that I can think of that would be negative. I did have a couple of small issues that needed fixed, and they were all taken care of promptly...The Ranger service tech (Ivan Guzman) came to the boat, and worked on it on the buoy, he always cleaned up so nicely before leaving.
Some of the things I enjoy most about the R23 are: Lots of storage, fast (41/mph my top speed), quite motor, great visibility when under way, bow thruster, and just the plane fact it's so very different than any other boat I see on the water...gets a lot of complements.
Traveled the South Puget Sound most of the summer, and didn't see another R23, but I'm thinking that might change next summer!
The Tug, and all the Ranger Staff are all top notch.
Kind Regards,
Brent
