I realize that the V birth bedding has been talked about on this forum and the cows are still coming home!
I you are the owner of an R 23 you have experienced the very difficult job it is to get access to the storage on either side of the V birth. You can lift them slightly but total removal is almost near impossible without marring the teak woodwork at the head end which I have done on both sides. You can remove a small square cushion at the front and get some wiggle room to remove it, then there is the problem of where to put it to be out of the way. This is no quick in and out if you need total access.
On version 2.0 I would suggest a triangular cushion for the bow ending at the point where the table filler begins (there is huge storage toward the front that you cannot get at). Square off the two sides so they can be raised with little difficulty. Bingo bango, easy access.
It probably looked great on paper (cad) but I doubt if on the first test drive someone tried to go under and said, wow that’s easy.
