Greetings we have a boat on order and I need to work on our floating dock.

Can someone tell me the measurements of where the cleat loctions are on the R-27? I looked here but do not see cleats outlined. file:///C:/Users/ralph/Downloads/2017-R27%20boat%20lift%20info10-30-17.pdf

thanks.

Ralph

Hi there Ralph,

The info you need is just a few clicks down in the Ranger Factory Technical Bulletins section. Here is a link that goes directly to the folder that has the trailer lift drawing for the 27. Hope this helps!

(BTW, sorry but the link in your post is to your hard drive, so wasn't able to look at that)

EDIT, just realized that you were asking for the actual cleat locations, which this drawing does not have. That will take a bit more research, but we will do what we can to help.

Cheers!

Hi Ralph,

Ok, I was not able to get any measurements, (I'm 45 miles away from the plant where the 27s are built) but this image shows the precise locations of the cleats and should give you a very good idea of the relative distances between them. The port side locations will be the same.

Hope this helps, but let me know.

Thanks!

Ralf

Quick update: I was able to get a few measurements. If you look at the position of the rear cleat, on the starboard side the cockpit cleat is about 6.5 feet forward, the one at the helm is about 8 feet forward of that, and the bow cleat is just shy of 9 feet. On the port side the cockpit cleat is about 7 feet forward, the cleat at the cabin window 7.5 feet forward, and the bow cleat again just shy of 9 feet forward of that.
