R-27 OB Window defrost / heat

New to Tugnuts, and a relatively new Ranger Tug owner from Vancouver BC..... Wanted to put a couple questions out to the community as I am looking to make some improvements to our heat and defrost situation. The one dash vent which blows cold air just doesn't do the job to keep our windshield clear. Additionally, the diesel heat vents (one at the helm floor and one beside the head - both starboard side)) don't do a great job of providing heat to the port side (my wife's side...)

Questions:

1. Has anyone made improvements to the defrost situation by adding additional vents or better yet heated vents?
2. Has anyone made changes to bring heat to the post side of the boat?
