Does anyone know whether there is a joker valve in the outflow port of the shower sump pump?
 
I don't believe so. Most of the shower sumps just have a bilge pump piped overboard.
 
My guess would be no as well. My owners manual shows a check valve in the hose for the aft bilge pump so I'd guess that if the sump had one, it would be in the diagram (which it is not)
