R-29CB Aft Bilge Pump Replacement?

Has anyone replaced their aft most bilge pump by the packing nut from the stock Rule 27SA? We have now had our second 27SA fail, the automatic sensor, and it's time to replace it with something more fool proof. Thanks!

I too have a R29 (2010) and have similar issues. When I bought boat it had a Rule LoPro 900LP in there. Worked with switch but not the automatic feature. So I replaced it with same pump as it fits down under engine very nicely. It worked great for 1st few months - automatically when water sensed and manually when needed. However, the automatic feature has now stopped working again (manual operation still works).

So yes, I have the same question: I thought Rule were good pumps but can someone recommend either another low profile automatic one? Or alternatively I may go the float switch route if space permits.
