Cabin smells when toilet is flushed. Is there a vent and if so where? Thanks

From your location I presume your boat is in saltwater. When the head is not flushed frequently algae from the raw water intake will cause some smell to develop in the pipes

Use it more often or convert to freshwater flush

If you smell it from the vent when you flush then install a charcoal filter in the vent line. I'm not sure where the vent is on a 31 but on other boats its on the stern. There is a pic of one that I made in my album and I have an old post on how to make it. Big Orange is a commercial one that you can buy.
Nothing like a holding tank fermenting in the FL heat and sun.

The vent is located on the starboard side of the hull between the window by the sink and the sliding helm door. There are two mushroom style vents there. The forward vent is for the black water tank and the aft vent is for the fresh water tank. Hope this helps..

Our systems are fresh water so it wouldn't have anything to do with raw water system. I had the same issue on our boat. I pulled the fridge out (very easy) and crawled in behind and cut the vent hose and installed a Big Orange charcoal filter. The vent is routed to the starboard side and there was plenty of slack in the line to add the filter
