R-31 front port window is locked

For some reason, today I can not open the front port window.
Somehow it is locked - never happened before.
How do I open it?
Help anyone!
 
Have you tried pushing the window forward (toward the closed position) and then tried pushing in the latch? Sometimes if the window gets pushed back in the locked position the spring latch can get jammed.

On closer view - after reading your post - it looks like the latch can be opened, but the window will only slide back a tiny bit before it stops. Almost like something is blocking the track. And I can’t see what that might be until I get back to my slip.
 
Salt deposits can build up and make the window very hard to slide. We use Salt Away to keep the track running smoothly.
