Can I replace the saloon table in my R-29 with one from the R-31? It looks like it is a slightly different size/shape. I really like the way the R-31's table folds to expose the grab handle and cup holders. plus it makes getting in and out of the seats much easier.

Recently did that on our R-27. Really opens up the middle aisle.

I ordered the hardware from Ranger then had the existing table cut and hinged As said really opens it up.. You need same shape table so it still makes into a bed if needed

You are more than welcome to contact our parts manager Richard Becker who can order the parts you need to adapt the new table for your boat. He can be reached by phone at our main office or by email at parts@rangertugs.com.

I have to say in the end after all the costs and a lot of labour I'm not sure the gain was worth the expense but I had to have it and now I've got it🙂

Thanks for the info guys- I'm going to see what it costs, it seems like a great way to make moving around the cabin a little easier when there is a crowd. Which there always seems to be!!

You guys mention modifications? or work that has to be done to get the new table to fit/work..? what did you have to do? Doesn't it just replace the old table? Or are the tops not the same shape?

I believe they are using the new style in all the models. Just tell them you need one for an R-29.

You do not want to do any modifications yourself. If it was me (and it was), I would just pay the factory (or in my case, the dealer).
