The owner's manual that we were told about in our training in January was one that needed to be down-loaded. I got a digital copy from another 43 owner. It was last updated in 11/2021. The manual is basically a bare-bones description of where items, fuses and valves are located on the boat. That is really good to have.
If you are expecting a comprehensive manual like the one that you get for an automobile, you will be disappointed.
At your training, take as many notes and photos as possible. The weather is better than January, do as much hands-on as possible. The trainers are excellent. Get there early and maximize their time and expertise.
If you bought the dinghy, make sure that you and your crew can deploy and retrieve it. We have no confidence in our ability to use such a heavy dinghy. At least one other 43 owner has concerns about it. Make sure that you feel comfortable.
Best,
Bob
