R-Matey's Trailer needs a new home (boat)

Our Beautiful little tug has SOLD and she's in her new home at Friday Harbor. The new skipper and mate are from Dallas, Texas. Like other Texans in our boating community, they're great folks, and we know they'll enjoy being part of the Ranger Tug group.

Bellingham Yachts handled the sale, advertising both in print and on the Internet. We are extremely happy with the crew at Bellingham Yacht Sales and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their boat. Not only are they the dealer for the Cutwater (selling new and used) but they're familiar with the systems on the Ranger Tug which makes them a natural to handle the sale 😀

So...this brings us to the announcement that our 2010 galvanized EZ Loader trailer is FOR SALE. Model #TEZB 25-27, 8500. Tandem Axle. Less than ten road hours. Currently housed in our storage unit in Bellingham. Photos available in the R-MATEY album. Asking $5900 OBO. Please send a PM if interested.

At the moment we're looking forward to the 2014 SBS. Ranger Tug has one of the best boat displays. Just never know what might capture your heart while you're there 😉

Thanks for the congratulations and the compliments. It wasn't all that easy the other day walking away from R-MATEY after we delivered her to Friday Harbor. Had to suck it up and not get weepy in front of the new owners. We will miss her but she's in good hands. Thanks, too, for the good wishes on the trailer sale.

We spend a couple months each year in Arizona, visiting our daughter and son-in-law. Alas, we do not have a pool in our RV. But, the kids have a pool. Other people's pools are as good as OPB (Other People's Boats)... and you have a LOT of friends with boats. You are welcome on ours any time.

I'm sure you could go a long time on OPB... well, if you were so inclined.

Hi Jim, Speaking of OPB's, a couple of months ago I did have the opportunity to run C-CAKES from Cap Sante down the Guemes Channel and around the corner going through Deception Pass to Cornet Bay. Barry had a medical emergency and was off to the hospital. I treated his C-Dory just like it was mine. We got it to his house, flushed both engines, washed her down and tucked her away. Barry remained in the hospital for another week. All was good 😀 I even got to hug Patti. You know I'm a good hugger, just ask Joan 🙂

Thanks for the offer to do an OPB (on WILDBLUE) and you don't need to go the hospital, either 🙂
