The bilge pump in my 2015 R21-EC has failed.
My question: does anyone know the GPH of the pump for the purpose of ordering a replacement?
Based on my observations, I surmise it is a Johnson Pump. (cartridge-type, red in color.)
I also gather that there is a replacement that will twist-lock into the existing housing, available in 500, 750, and 1000 GPH versions.
Removing the pump to clean the impeller is easy, and I wish I had this on my maintenance list as I would not be in the current situation. . . . but it will be in the future!
The decal with the pump info is on the mounting bracket, which I would prefer not to remove for obvious reasons. I tried to read it with an inspection mirror without success.
The folks at Ranger Tug corporate were very pleasant on the phone, but could not answer my question without me removing the screwed-in pump mounting bracket to see the decal on the side.
