I am in the process of doing mine. I pulled the ones off on the sides and have completed them. I was waiting for a little warmer and drier weather to do the center one, which I will mask off with blue tape and then go to it. Spend some time on the masking as a good mask job with result in a nice looking finish job. I may pull the door at the same time and do it with it laying across saw horses (with a good mask job).
PS. I have removed teak bungs on wood work before almost always have had to replace the bungs due to the old ones getting buggered in the removal process. I keep teak on hand and have plug cutters because of this. Also, I like penetrating finishes and don't use stuff that just lays on the wood (ie, Cetol).
