Good day,
I contacted the factory this morning to order a carpet for my tug, unfortunately, Richard told me that they do not hold any carpet for the 21EC anymore. I was wondering, if someone here has a cockpit carpet new or used in a really clean condition for sale by any chance? If so please contact me.

Thank you!

If you can't find any used or new carpet for your Tug.. Contact THE RUG PILOT. RUGPILOT1@HOTMAIL.COM 423 504 6538 Custom Marine Carpet. I have used him for custom carpet and OEM replacement. He can match many manufactures patterns. If he doesn't have the pattern for your boat you can make a pattern. Send it to him and he will cut the carpet to your pattern and finish edges. I found him on Ebay 8 years ago. I was satisfied with his work.

I purchased a set for my r21-ec thru a company called Corinthian Marine Carpet. They have templates for the r21-ec, I paid around $600.00USD for the set and they fit perfect. I am very pleased with their product.

Hi Pat: What a pity you don't live down here in Western Australia. I replaced both my wheelhouse and upper deck(cockpit) carpet a couple of years ago, as the upper deck carpet had degraded and the rubber backing had perished badly. However, the inside (wheelhouse) carpet was still in mint condition. This carpet lives in my garage now and will never again be used. I have replaced both my carpet sections with high grade marine carpet, obtained locally. I would be happy to give this unused bit of carpet to you, free of charge, but I fear freight charges might be prohibitive. Regards, Stevan

thanks a lot for the reply fellow tuggers,

I found a member of tugnuts which as one for me! Life is good!

Have a great day,

Pat

Having had the carpet runner Teak/Holly in cockpit and cabin on my R-21EC for past 20 months I can say it was well worth it. It adds to the solid look, looks nice and nautical and in some way reduces hull noise... 😱 It a good upgrade for the boat IMO.
