Hello,

So while winterizing, noticed my fuel tank shifted a bit. Looks like the piece of "plastic" lumber partially broke and pulled the rest of the screws out where it attached to the boat. I've already filled the holes and plan to reinstall, but am trying to figure out what the material is and if I should use the same again. What's everyone's thoughts?

My fuel tank moved forward about 1 inch on the port side due to slamming on the breaks to keep from hitting the car that pulled out in front of me when coming back from a crabbing trip last month. The material of the strip that keeps the fuel tank in place appears to be starboard plastic.
My intention is to empty fuel tank and reposition and replace mounting strip with new one along with strips going forward and aft to beef up design, this will also look like deviders in the aft storage compartment

Ok, thanks, I was thinking it was starboard but have never seen that material in person to compare this to. My tank had moved forward a couple inches and even though it was full, I was able to push it back into place quite easily.
