I am planning to put the name of our new boat on the front sides of the bow. Does anyone know the dimension between the gunwale and the strip that runs below it? Or the dimensions of your own lettering in that location (a pic would be helpful)?
 
It is 7 inches between the gunwale and the strip below. See my photo album for how I placed our boats name. Hope this helps.
