- Still thinking??
Having probelms with the Garmin Autopilot on my 2018 R23.
Took the boat out last week and noticed the bearing of the boat on screen for some reason had gone well out of sync.
The on screen had the boat pointed almost 170* out.
Could this be because the battery had run flat and the system rebooted? (Another issue/question for later)
I now need to run the dockside recalibraton and seatrial to reset is that correct?
It's asking the following questions, could someone advise the correct inputs for this please?
Vessel type - Power planing or Power displacement?
Lock to Lock?
Helm Displacement?
Speed source? Tachometer or GPS?
Planing RPM?
Low RPM limit?
High RPM limit?
Planing speed?
Rudder gains? Low & high speed %? And counter %?
Acceleration limiter %?
This is all brand new to me!
Second question....I left the boat plugged in to shore power, all switched correctly, battery charger off.
Only thing on was the fridge....and the house battery went flat. Should this happen?
Should I be leaving the battery charger on when the fridge is on?
Thanks for any help!
