Where did you put the black box? Looks good!

The black box is 6-1/8" x 2-3/8" x 3-11/16" and I was able to mount it under and to the right of the Chartplotter when facing from the rear. There was plenty of room, just a tight space to work and awkward angle to install. There are 6 plugs that go into the box (Antenna, NMEA, Remote Head Unit, Aux Harness, power/Speaker Harness and USB)

I made a trim piece out of plexiglass and covered it with leather furniture tape

I do prefer the square form factor over the round one, the sound quality is better and it puts out more power. The menu system is easier to navigate too.

On your head unit upgrade from the Dual, did you need any sort of new wiring harness on the install? Or was it "plug and play"?

Hello,

I have the Dual MGH37BT on my 2021 R25. My cockpit speakers suddenly stopped working while cabin worked. I verified speakers and wiring were ok. I then contacted Dual Radio manufacture (866-382-5476) who suggested resetting the radio by pressing the squares and backtrack buttons at same time and this worked! All good now.

This is a great tip! I have the Dual MGH25BT and the Bluetooth had stopped working. It just wouldnt pair with any device any more. I was researching replacement units and then saw this tip and rushed out to my boat to try it. Three seconds later, I saw the 'EPROM RESET' message and when I turned the unit back on, Bluetooth worked again! Saved me $300 =)

I have the fusion UD -750 with the worthless little phone tray. After doing some research it looked like the MS-ARX70 would work with this radio. It does not pare. Further research says they are not compatible. Does anyone know of a remote that works with the UD750? Its on the other side of the helm and a PITA to adjust the volume when underway. Mine is a 2016 25SC

You should be able to control your UD750 from the Garmin MFD at the helm. On my GPSMap I go to menu/data bars/media Bar On.
