R23 V-berth cushion measurements

Hello, we are getting a foam mattress topper made for our V-berth in our R23. We would like to get it cut into 3 pieces, so we can easily lift a section to get at the storage underneath. Has anybody done the same thing? Does anybody have the exact measurement of the cushions?

I'm sorry I can't give you dimensions.I will advise that having the topper cut in sections makes it a bit uncomfortable. We made a 3" memory foam topper that worked well for 3 years. It folded easily enough to get to the boat cushions then lifted them up to get to the storage. Lifting the cushions because of the tight fit was not always easy. This year we decided to have a custom mattress made that hinges. There is a layer of latex foam and memory foam over the top of the hinges so they are not felt when laying on them.The bottom section of the mattress has air coils springs. I made a hinged support Frame that supports the mattress and a shelf for storage under it. We no longer use the table. I removed the step and table. The new set up eased access to storage, 40 lbs lighter than the factory cushions, table, and step, and is equivalent to our mattress at home. The mattress came with two sets of fitted sheets and a comforter all custom fit to the mattress. The company that made it gives instructions on measuring. Good people to deal with.

We found the 3" topper to be pliable enough to easily fold out of the way to access the storage underneath. You are limited to one section at a time but it is possible.
