Hi. I have a 2008 r25 classic. This will be my first season coming up. We used it a little last fall. My question one of many I’m sure is. I only have one bilge pump under the motor. I have seen the other big ump right in front of the motor. Where does the discharge line go? I’m installing a new one. Thanks Chris

The outlet of the forward bilge pump goes directly out the starboard side to the set of 4 through hulls. You’ll have difficulty accessing the through hull from inside the boat. I cut a rectangular hole about 8x12 in the back wall of the lower aft cabinet to access that area. I’m not sure if even that will allow access to that through hull. Depending on the reason for replacing that hose, maybe you could splice it instead of replacing the entire hose?

Thanks so much for the reply! That answers the question. I only have three thru halls on the starboard side. I can’t believe from the factory they never put a second bilge pump in or the previous owners. Oh well another project. A previous owner cut the back of the cabinet out. I’m going to have to make the hole bigger. Even then it’s going to be a real tight job or near impossible.

The early 2007 and 2008's only had one bilge pump, as you describe it.

Thanks Doke01. Do you have Yanmar 4jh4 hte in your boat? I have some questions on the raw water pump I lost the backing plate by not listening to my wife. I have to find the model number of it. Thanks Chris
