R25 Classic Sports Rack

Hello,
Is a sports rack for a 2008 R25 Classic available from the the Ranger Tugs factory? If so, what would be the cost of the rack shipped to NC (area code 28571)? I'm not familiar with how it attaches to cabin top. Does it attach to the cabin top handrails or directly to the top itself? Thanks!

Hello Ed,

Thanks for reaching out to us directly! I am afraid the sport rack for R25 is not produced any longer. My suggestion (even if we did make them) would be to work with a local upholstery shop to bend you rails. You can buy the 7/8" seadog hinged tees to attach to the top rails.

Or, if you didn't mind the look, you could use straight pieces of 7/8" tubing for both the horizontal and vertical sections and use 90 degree elbows for the upper corners with the T fittings Andrew mentioned above to attach the vertical tubing to the hand rails. The top piece would be straight instead of slightly curved but you would have all the functionality of the sports rack at a very modest cost. Deciding on the length of the vertical sections would let you choose the clearance from the roof you preferred.
In my album refer to images 0841 and 0824 to see how the rack vertical sections attach to the rails. For reasons unknown, our sports rack has super high clearance from the roof - unlike any other R25 Classic's sports rack I've seen!
