I read that a few folks have installed the Webasto 3900 diesel heater, and that someone had posted pics of the install. Anyone know where they are? Anyone have install experience? Any advise would be helpful!

Thanks
Scott

I installed a planar Russian heater on my boat works like a charm I go to the boat regularly all winter and heat it up to 70 and beyond... Installing is easy hardest part is cutting a hole through the boat for the exhaust.. Not sure how your 25 is set up but I hooked the fuel into the tank for the generator.. Is very straight forward .. I used flexible vent pipe and ended up going back and insulating it after as it gets pretty hot. But most of all it is not complicated .. Took me a day and a bit Next time would be about 4 hours . When it is going full tilt it uses 3 gal in 12 hours but keeps the R29 toasty in below zero weather..

I have used and installed both the Webasto and the Wallace stove/heater. The Webasto will put out more heat in a short time, but even the smallest unit is an over kill. Secondly, where to install it, is a problem on a R-25. I have the Wallace on my R-25 and I am very happy with it's performance.

We have a Wallus also. It works great. We've had our boat since 2007 and all that I have had to do is clean it once every couple of years.
