I was boating on my R27 near Bellingham yesterday when I heard a man overboard distress call go out on vhf 16. Someone had fallen off a sailboat near Pelican Bay. Soon after picked up by an R25 in the area. Congratulations to captain and crew for their quick response and rescue.
