My first effort at winterizing the R25. Probably pretty safe area (North Texas) but we got hit hard last year. The Engine, washdown, and head all easy to do since I have a flush fitting. After shutting the thru hull valve, I just fill a bucket modified with a hose fitting at the bottom with antifreeze and run it thru these systems. My problem was the generator and A/C pump. No flush fittings and very hard to get to the inlet hoses to add one. So I bought an extra Jabsco strainer cover, drilled and tapped it to 1/2 " NPT and installed a male hose fitting. Now when I need to flush all I do is shut the thru hull, remove the original strainer cover (these are fairly easy to get to), replace it with the modified cover and connect to my antifreeze bucket. Works like a champ! My boat is on fresh water but the same trick would work for flushing out salt water when taking the boat out of the water.
