In the spirit of "6 for drinks, 4 for dinner, and 2 overnight" I wanted to do something to enhance the "4 for dinner" aspect in the cockpit. The factory cockpit table on our R27 is really small but is a work of art! We love it but it really doesn't work at all for 4 if you want to eat outside. I considered making a custom table but realized that an additional factory table could work as an extension. There is plenty room in the cockpit, but how to secure/support it? I chose two Rockler Click catches

and a standard 1" rail mount base, 1" stainless tubing, and a rubber foot for a leg.

This solution allows for using the single factory table for 2 persons with no extra weight or visual impacts. The extension snaps in after adding the single leg with no fuss. Both tables are stored in the cave when not in use. Sits 4-5 comfortably with two folding chairs and a few cushions.
Thanks to Stwendl for the additional table!
