R27 delivery orientation

We are excited to announce that we've just taken delivery of our red hulled R27 on Wednesday and are currently docked in Gig Harbor, Washington. We're glad that we can finally be considered official Tugnutters. After a few days in Gig Harbor our plan is to cruise the San Juan Islands before attending the Ranger Tug Rendezvous, so if you see us on the water, at anchor or in a marina please hail us or stop by... we hail as Kismet (no name on boat yet).

In addition to expressing our excitement about our new tug, we wanted to share the exceptional delivery experience we had with Andrew Custis, the Custom Service Manager at Ranger Tugs. He spent as much time as was needed to provide the most thorough and informative new product introduction that we've ever had. I've previously read, on this forum, other owner's praise of Andrew and can tell anyone and everyone that he deserves each one. Andrew spent the better part of a day going through the boat systems, how they work and answered all of our questions along with taking the sea trial and providing a trailering demonstration. Andrew does Ranger Tugs proud with his experience, intelligence, attention to detail

As thorough as Andrew is, you will be amazed at the questions you will have over the next few weeks. Welcome to the happy group of 27 owners. We are back in Anacortes for the evening, but will be back somewhere in the Islands for the next few days. Hope to cross paths and see how red and yellow go together..grins. Congratulation on your new Ranger Tug, you are really going to enjoy it. We took deliver ithe end of April, and are having so much fun learning about it. When will you be leaving Gig Harbor, and where are you staying? We moor our boat at Pleasure Craft next to the Public dock. We are not sure what day we will be there yet, Sat. or Sunday, but we will look you up.

Congratulations on your new R27.

Since we took delivery of our new R27 almost exactly 2 months ago, we've had a great time with it so far. It appears that you and we are off on a somewhat similar course with our new R27s, Chevrolet/GMC 2500HD diesel 4x4s, and the intent to trailer the boat a lot around the country to enjoy many different venues.

Although our new R27 has had a few problems, plus lots of questions on my part about how things work, between Andrew Custis and Marc Grove @ Wefings, everything has been resolved.

Welcome Abaord! Yes Andrew is the best!! He knows these boats and their systems inside and out. I wish he was closer to the East coast so we could take advantage of such a great systems education.
