Is there a 12 volt ignition switched source, easy to access in the starboard lazerett. Trying not to have to run a wire all the way to switch. Going to use to power dc-dc charger.

The Victron Orion Tr DC😀C chargers only need to be connected between the two batteries. If one is the start battery and the other the house the Victron charger will sense when the engine is running and start charging automatically when the start battery goes above the threshold voltage and then stop charging automatically 1 minutes (or so) after you shut the engine off. You can wire it to the engine start switch, but it is not necessary.

Have the KISAE, not the Victron. Thanks.

I have 3 acr’s at home doing nothing but taking up space. I am thinking you mean to hook out side of acr to the control terminal of KISAE, and using it as a switch? Thanks

Engine battery to ACR (or DVSR) to input of Kisae dc to dc charger.

The DVSR/ACR will only close when it sees engine voltage. When the engine is turned off charge voltage goes away and it’ll open.

The ACR then acts as the switch to turn on and off your Dc charger based on whether the engine is running or not.

Here's a drawing illustrating what I'm talking about.
