I just browsed thru a copy of th r27 manual and looked at section covering the wiring of the batteries.
I fail to see circuitry paralleling the two house batteries. The right battery seems to be connected to the inverter/charger only with no provision to use the charger to charge the other batteries, while the second house battery is connected to the alternator and then connected via an acr to the starter and from starter battery to the thruster battery via an acr again. There is a switch to allow bypassing the acr between that house battery and the engine battery.
I am sure this is an oversight in the documentation. Will have to check this on my boat when I pick it up next week.
