Still getting used to the boat, and this site. Didn't find any discussions, so here goes...while underway do most of you leave the cabin door latched open? What about the rear window?

I've been on test rides with dealers who have done both, and I've sea trialed several with the door open.

However, now that I own one, I've noticed the door seems to flex quite a bit underway, twisting at the top and bottom.

Clearly, if it gets rough enough we close both, but just wondering if anyone has had issues, or recommendations.

I leave the cabin door closed. It's not uncommon to have engine exhaust enter the cabin in certain situations while underway. It's also much quieter with the door closed.

Depends on the temperature. If the back door is open, we have all the windows and hatches open for airflow underway. This time of year in NC, we run with the A/C on and everything closed up tight.

All depends on conditions. Mostly open this time of year unless we’d like it quiet and it’s not too hot out. Have had no issues running with door/window open.
