R29 and R31 fuel use question

I'm interested to know the fuel consumption for the R29 and R31 at certain speeds. This would be when the boat is with two adults and a normal storage load of stuff and a dinghy on swim step.

This is what I'd like to know

Typical fuel use at 6 kts, 8kts, 10kts, 12kts and 14kts with trim tabs fully up.

I know several things can influence fuel burn rate so with several responses I can take an average which should be good enough for me.

I want to compare these figures with my fuel burn I observe on my R-25 (Classic with 4BY2-150 Yanmar engine).

Yesterday I was out on my R-25 and at 6Kts I was burning 1.0 gal/hr and at around 9kts to 10kts I was burning 3.5 gal/hr.

Does anybody have comparisons between the older D4-260 and the newer 300 and 320HP engines? How would fuel economy and speed compare?
