I am trying to figure out the best way to mount /secure a Bimini to the top my my 2017 R29CB. I found some pics but I really want to make my top a little longer than the pics I have found . I would like it to be about 9 1/2 feet, front to back, so it will extend fo the front windshield and cover to the rear seat(4 bows). I see pics with the Bimini is mounted to the rail, but that seems like a lot of top (weight) to be mounted to the rail.
If anyone has any pics of their Bimini on. R29CB please share!
Suggestions for mounting are also welcome!

I am looking for a pic of a factory Bimini for a R29 CB . Any help Please

We have completed the install of the bimini on our R29CB. Mike at Harrods Creek Marine Supply did a great job. We attached the frame to the existing rails so we did not have to drill any holes. You can see the pics in my photo album.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, the Bimini looks great on the CB. One question, how easy is it to take down if you want to cruise with it stored away?

Yes, it will fold down right behind the solar panel. I made an extension to support it. It is quite heavy so I might do some reinforcement. We also have a boot to zip it all up nice and neat.

Did anyone ever post a picture of the factory installed Bimini on a R29CB? I'm still looking for ideas on how to best get this done properly and I'd we love to get one installed. Looks like there maybe a few challenges with the collapsing/fold down railing that could be a issue.

Thanks,
Tom
