I just reserved a production spot for a 2019 29 CB and I am getting my pier/lift configured for it. I've heard conflicting specs on the shore power requirements. Can you tell me what the specs will be for my model/year? Also, I seem to remember two receptacles on the starboard side. I'm trying to tell my contractor what type of pedestal to install.

Hi, we have the R29 CB. The two shore power connections are both 30 amp. The 2nd is used for the AC while the 1st is for everything else. A splitter can be used with a 50 amp pedestal or have them put in a pedestal with 2 30 amp. Most of the time I only hook up Shore Power 1 and only hook up the second one when we need air conditioning (or heater if it's cold out).

Your boat will be equipped with 2 30amp Shore power connectors. It will also come with the 2 Shore power cords to connect to the dock. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Mark. Pocket Yacht

We have a 31CB and use a 30 to 2-30 splitter all the time. Requires a little power management, no hot water , lasts 2 days from engine heat, with both AC, usually shut off forward AC when cooking, we have propane stove. Never tripped a good breaker. Some marinas have rotten breakers. Usually use a single 25’ cord. Keep 2-50’ and 50 to 2-30 splitter on board. Usually use 50 to single 30 when no 30 available. I ran 50A service to dock, with 2-30, 2-20, and 15a 240 for lift.

Hey everyone, thanks for your replies, you all answered my questions!

Mike
