We have a 2010 r29. We bought it this year and love it.
The berth is comfy with the addition of memory foam.
But none of the seating is deep enough. I have severe back problems and need a deeper seat for proper support.
Are there any upgrades we can do to make the seating more comfortable? I don't really care if we can make the dinette into a bed, I just want to be comfortable. At the helm too, so I can drive longer.

I just re did my seats and I changed the foam on the dinette seating ( table facing seats only as they are used the most ) to a denser foam and it made a big difference . Mine is a 2011 and until I changed it it felt like I was sitting on the board underneath without foam. I asked my supplier for the most dense available. It really made a difference. It was not bad when new but over time it wears down. I am hoping this stuff will last longer. If you re upholster your seats you could add another 1/2 inch I am sure. Just a heads up though. the folding seat is thinner then the opposing seat 2 " vs 2 1/2 " and the leading edge pieces are thicker on the fixed side ( 3" ).
I am sure you could find or make some separate cushions you could just add on top where ever you are sitting as well.. this would be much easier and more flexible .

Good luck

Thanks so much. May I ask how much $ it cost for re upholstery? Cause we need to do that too.
I'm not having so much problem with the thickness, is more the seat depth. So maybe adding depth would be possible.
