Hi, I saw your post from 2024 about the fuel sender unit. I have a 2017 R-29. The fuel reading on the Volvo engine analyzer which I believe is based on a fuel tank float is not reading correctly. It seems to get stuck at either full or empty. You mention checking the wiring. Can you explain where the relevant wire connections are located? Thanks, ChrisWe recently had an issue with fuel gauge reading oddly and tracked it down to a problem with the connection to the gauge as opposed to a problem with the sending unit. Gauge reads resistance to ground and should read 30 ohms full and around 240 ohms empty
I've heard that the senders are pretty simple devices and it i rare to see the actual sender fail. Usually it is a wire or connection
