R29 Toilet Fuse Blows

We set out for our first trip of the season this past weekend. Went to flush the toilet and the 25 amp fuse blew. I replaced the fuse and it blew immediately after attempting to flush. I emptied the holding tank last Fall and we had heaters in the cabin all winter. Any thought son why the fuse would blow?

My friend on a sailboat recently had a similar issue, it ended up being a clogged/broken/worn out macerator pump. He first tried to clean it 'really well', and that worked for a bit but then it started happening again. He bought a new pump and the issue went away.

The worn-out pump was drawing a higher load in order to try and turn over causing the higher amperage draw and blown fuses.
