Looking for ways people use the space above the portside window in the cockpit, just under the roof. And have you devised a way to keep whatever it is you store in there from coming out?

We keep a throwable PDF and line bag in that space. The bag keeps it in place.

I also keep a net with collapsible handle in that location. Fits nicely, and I can fish floating debris (and the occasional speckled trout) quite easily.

Like others....I keep my Class IV throwable PFD in there. It has never moved in a year of travels.
