I will be professionally towing my new-to-me R31CB from Anacortes to Portland next week. I am looking for a good check-list (or youtube video) for the command bridge breakdown. My RT manual stops mid-way through the process.

Please advise your thoughts and recommendations.

We tow our 2015 31CB from San Diego to Anacortes each Summer. My recommendation is to remove all canvas from the CB. After you lower the CB, use straps or ropes to secure it in the down position so the gas struts or wind cannot move it up when you hit pavement bumps along the way. Use wire ties to secure the mast guy wires and the vhf antenna. The procedures for reducing the height of the hand rails is obvious, but then use wire ties to keep the thru bolt retainers from chafing on the gelcoat. There will be lots of wind and vibration, so try to anticipate and eliminate anything that can move.

We moved our (new to us) C31cb from Canada to CT... in addition to the above advice, I learned:
1) tie the Solar Panel down well.
2) Regarding the "outboard" seats both Port and Starboard... the "pillowy" cushions that hang down should be removed and stowed in the cabin... ours filled with water during rainstorms and took a week to dry out.
3) Do an anode inventory... our boat went from fresh to sea water -- so we changed all the anodes while the boat was on the driver's trailer prior to splashing. The bow thruster zinc is deep inside the cavity so bring a ratchet extension with you.

This is great info! Please keep them coming!
