We replaced the 4 House Batteries on our 2019 R-31 yesterday. The 4 “el cheapo” batteries made in China that came with the boat were replaced with Lifeline 31XT batteries.
The ABYC certified marine electrician noticed the following about the wiring: “ * Replace house batteries. Found inverter / charger and house load feeder cables were not connected to a common point on batteries. The four batteries were not sharing load equally. Repositioned common DC negative and positive cables to help even out battery performance.”
