Is there a warning to not use the radar when personal is on the control bridge due to the location of the radar?

Garmins Recommendation for mounting.
It is highly recommended that the device is mounted out of range of personnel, with the horizontal beam width above head height. To avoid exposure to harmful radio frequency (RF) levels, the device should not be mounted closer to people than the maximum safe distance value listed in the product specifications.
The device should be mounted high above the ship’s keel line with minimal blockage between the vessel and the radar beam. Obstructions may cause blind and shadow sectors, or generate false echoes. The higher the installation position, the farther the radome can detect targets.
The device should be mounted on a flat surface or a platform that is parallel to the vessel's water line and is sturdy enough to support the device's weight. The weight for each model is listed in the product specifications.
Most radar beams spread vertically 12.5° above À and 12.5° below Á the radome's radiating element. On vessels with higher bow angles at cruise speed, the installation angle can be lowered to point the beam slightly downward to the waterline while at rest. Use shims if necessary.

The radar transmits electromagnetic energy. Ensure that the radar is installed according to the recommendations in these instructions and that all personnel are clear of the path of the radar beam before transmitting. When properly installed and operated, the use of this radar conforms to the requirements of ANSI/IEEE C95.1-1992 Standard for Safety Levels with Respect to Human Exposure to Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Fields.

HD24 has an option for low installation “No Transmit Zone” can protect areas behind the radar from being radiated while providing full forward-looking radar capability. This makes installation more flexible by providing more suitable installation options on your boat.

NMEA Antenna installation requirements
Radar Location
• Beam Is Above Crew Spaces
• No Obstructions on Critical Azimuth Bearings
• Power density?

This sums up the concern:
Marine radars can be found on small pleasure boats to large ocean going vessels. Peak powers of these systems can reach up to 30 kW, with average powers ranging from 1 to 25 W. Under normal operating conditions, with the antenna rotating, the average power density of the higher power systems within a metre of the antenna is usually less than 10 W/m2. In accessible areas on most watercraft, these levels would fall to a few percent of present public RF exposure standards.

Is the mounted location of the dome on the R-29 CB a good location. Yes and no. (Yes) because it is out of the way and doesn't have to be taken down to trailer. Most probably will not use the Radar while on the bridge. Piloting on the bridge should give visibility and no need for radar. If radar is desired the no transmit Zone should be used. Honestly the no transmit mode should always be on because the bridge of the R 29 CB will cause interference and obstruct 50% of the Azimuth Bearing. (No) It may or my not be a health hazard ( depends on who you believe) but really not the best location to get proper performance from the radar. All installations instructions advise being above personal. Ranger Tug/Cutwater = compromise. You can't have all the amenities installed and expect them to work 100%. They are small boats (trailerable) with big boat options.Good judgement and knowledge is needed to safely operate all the equipment on board. (my opinion)

On the Cutwater C-30CB, the radar is mounted on a platform putting it above any personnel on the command bridge. I was told the platform was tilt able for trailering. If folks considered it enough of a concern, I wonder if the C-30CB radar platform could be mounted on either the R-29CB or the R-31CB?

Looking at different models the R-31 CB has the radar mounted on mast above the CB, only the R-29 CB is questionable.
