Radar reflector

there was some talk awhile ago about which models and years were reflectors installed in the stack. I removed my stack to see how the wires were installed and found that my 2015 21ec has a reflector in the stack.

Here's what Andrew posted on this issue...

As of July 1st, 2014 we quit installing the radar reflectors. If your boat was built prior to that date, you have a radar reflector.

Maybe your 2015 R-21EC was actually built prior to July 1st, 2014. 🙂

I've installed a Tri-Lens radar reflector on my R-21EC above the Garmin radar dome... just to make our little R-21EC show up bigger on Herb's (Willie's Tug R-31) Chart Plotter. :lol:

I know for a fact that's mine was built in November 1014, so perhaps they had some stack sub assemblies in stock that they used on my boat.

If you ask me... this quoted timeframe for installing or not installing radar reflectors in the stack has a very fuzzy timeline. 😉

No I have not. When at factory with Andrew we discussed this and he and the factory foreman (Don) were adamant that there was no reflector in the stack... so I accept that.
